Swob reads the sessions that Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other agents leave on your Mac, and turns them into a library you own: a diary of each day, a finder for any moment, a share for the parts worth showing, and an honest audit of how you really work with AI.

Every tool keeps its own hidden folder. Claude Code, Codex and Cursor never see each other's history.

Expiring.

Claude Code purges history after 30 days by default. Switch machines and it is simply gone.

Raw JSONL and SQLite, full of protocol noise. Fine for the tool. Useless for you two weeks later.

    Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, OpenCode, Gemini CLI and nine more. Each capability is marked available, experimental or unavailable. No logo walls.

    Lineage, not just files

    Fork, resume, compact and replay are resolved into one logical session. The Session Galaxy draws how your work actually branched.

    Accounting you can defend

    Per-call usage with model, price rule and billing path. When the evidence is missing the number says unavailable, not zero.

    Local, and yours

    Sessions become Markdown in a folder you choose. Obsidian is a natural home. No account, no cloud, no telemetry from the app.

    Agents can use it too

    The swob CLI returns JSON. An agent skill ships with it, so your agents can search their own history.

03 / Why us

We run a company on it.

Dark Constant is one person and a fleet of agents. Every session those agents run, in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or GLM, is archived by Swob into the company's Obsidian vault, next to the task it came from.

Handoffs between agents, audits of what a worker really did, and "who actually said that" checks all resolve to a Swob session. We did not build a session manager and then look for a use. We built the thing our company could not run without.
